We all can make a difference....
                                  in the environment

Our tours are Eco-friendly.  Our mission is to help keep our earth and oceans clean while teaching about our wonderful wildlife we have here in Orange County so we can all continue to enjoy the beauty of our world.  We thank you for your support in making a difference.  We have also partnered with EVERY MONDAY MATTERS.  Log onto www.everymondaymatters.com and check out their video on their home page or click on this link:  http://vimeo.com/867249 to see our bit part as we were chosen to be on their video for protecting the environment.  Join us and Every Monday Matters in making a difference.

We were also honored to speak at the yearly meeting in August at Anaheim/Orange County Visitor and Convention Bureau at their "Shades of Green Eco-friendly Destinations" (EcoTourism) and what visitors are looking for in Green Destinations.

OC Wildlife & Beach Tour gathers a group on a Monday for  picking up trash in Laguna Beach.

Please help keep our oceans and waterways clean by not polluting so we can all enjoy the beauty of our world!

150 Tons of trash was washed into the Pacific Ocean during the rains in December 2006. The top two trash items were:  cigarette butts & fast food wrappers.  Can you imagine what our oceans looked like, how much they were polluted, not to mention the animal life that ate the trash and died?

We at OC Wildlife & Beach Tour are committed to making a difference.
We ask that you choose at least one item from our protect the environment - conservation/environmental tip list (listed on our website) where you can make a difference.

As an Eco-friendly company and working with Every Monday Matters, we have chosen to do the following for making a difference:
*Pick up trash on the ground (beaches & neighborhood) especially plastics &
  cigarette butts
*Unplug cell phone chargers and other charges when not in use to save energy
*Support the mug movement in the workplace instead of using paper, plastic or
polystrene (remember polystrene does not dissolve and stays on the planet forever).
 *Recycle
*Bring our own grocery bag or reuse grocery bags
*Conserve on water (many states are having drought conditions)
*Volunteer to preserve the tide pools (once a month)
And remember, please don't feed wild animals as Human food is
                             not good for them.

  DID YOU KNOW?
144 BILLION BEVERAGE CONTAINERS END UP IN THE U.S. LANDFILLS, ROADS,
  STREAMS AND PARKS.

IT TAKES 1000 YEARS FOR A PLASTIC WATER BOTTLE TO DEGRADE IN A
LANDFILL  AND ONLY 12% OF THEM ARE RECYCLED, SO OVER 40 BILLION END UP
IN LANDFILLS.  BOTTLED WATER TRAVELS MANY MILES FROM THE SOURCE
RESULTING IN THE BURNING OF MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF FOSSIL FUELS, AND
CONTRIBUTES TO THE BILLIONS OF PLASTIC BOTTLES ENDING UP IN OUR
  LANDFILLS.

Join us in supporting the Mug Movement!
